If you wish to spend your holidays in the Tiber Valley of Umbria we recommend “Agriturismo Montone” situated on the hills between Assisi and Città di Castello. This holiday farm is the result of the restoration made to a farmhouse whose farmers still dedicate themselves to work on the fields surrounded by beautiful green hills. Today this farmhouse is a mansion magnificently restored and has 7 apartments all being autonomous and independent. One of them is planned to take in disabled tourists. Before restoration a farmer peasant was living here together with his family since his full time job was the agricultural work. Now he lives near the main farmhouse and produces vegetables, fruit and home made fruit jam. Montone Farm Holidays has got a large park with a swimming pool (14×7 m and 1,50 m profound) within which each guest can enjoy a private space with shady benches to read a book or to admire the green landscape all around. Our tourists can also use sunshade umbrellas and deckchairs by the swimming pool and in the park they can find swings and slides available to children. All apartments are furnished according to a rustic style, have wooden beam ceilings, floors done in terracotta tiles and characteristic furniture in solid wood. Some have also got a fire place. Private car owners can use a parking lot within the structure.
