Borgo Charme Castel Ritaldi was founded in 2010 after the skilful renovation of the ancient buildings of Castel San Giovanni; restructuring that allowed the old environments to be able to live a second life through the new tourist reception model of the Albergo Diffuso. The small fortified village of Castel San Giovanni is located in the heart of Umbria, a region famous for its good wine and oil; strategically located between the beautiful villages of Spoleto, Montefalco, Bevagna, Trevi, Campello, its location also allows excursions to major cities such as Rome or Florence. The structure offers its customers a unique experience, as well as all the comforts; guests will come into close contact with the history of the place that can be breathed in every corner, without giving up on hotel services: hospitality, assistance, catering, common spaces and services along with the life experience of a village. The TV is not there, but there are interesting thematic books on the territory, on the history of the Castle, the lost language and the traditions of central Umbria. The rooms are widespread in the village, all have private entrance and all have a bathroom with shower. Each room is different from the others tells a unique and unrepeatable story through a combination of unique antiques and design elements with all the comforts of a room in a modern hotel, keeping intact the charm and the medieval style. The rooms take their name from the fabrics and natural fibers with which we edited the outfits; you will find vintage fabrics worked on loom, lace and embroidery handmade in the period 800/900. The linen in high quality mercerized cotton, goose down and certified organic cotton pillows.
