Montepulciano Country Hotel & Spa****L is the result of a major renovation of several buildings that were once a large farm, a nineteenth-century building called Villa Comizio and various outbuildings: the caretaker’s house, warehouses and cellars. Opened in spring 2011, the Four Stars Luxury Resort offers accommodation with 53 rooms and apartments, Wellness Center, 3 outdoor pools, a gym, the restaurant, the Meeting Room, a private park with pine trees. Our Spa is located in the old cellar of the Villa, where the barrels of precious ‘Vino Nobile di Montepulciano’ were held; an ideal place to regain your forces. Our wellness area, with its suggestive room with brick vault ceiling, is one of the few Tuscany spa’s in Italy with this particular nineteenth-century atmosphere. The Kneipp path, Emotional Spa and waterbeds, the ‘Spa Dream’ with chromotherapy, the sauna with the Emotional Showers, the salt cave where you can breathe iodine, and the extraordinary “Fontana della Giovinezza” (‘Youth Fountain’, from where a waterelixir flows). There is the possibility of many kinds of treatments, including a special massage for couples at Vino Nobile, Chocolate, or Olive Oil. Our Fitness Room is equipped with modern Technogym equipment which allows our guests to stay in shape during their stay. The Technogym machines are connected to Internet. We also propose to our Guests the innovative Kinesis ® machine for the psychological wellbeing of the person: this is a machine dedicated to basic physical activities such as strength, balance, strength and flexibility. Romantic and with a cozy and warm atmosphere, our restaurant can also accommodate refined Gala Dinners, Business lunches, Banquets, for a total of 140 seats. The meeting room has 45 seats and is well-equipped with audio/video modern technologies: PA system, microphones, video projectors, computers. Cocktails and coffee breaks can be served at the bar or on the terrace of the Resort depending on the season. Our Chef also prepares pleasant surprises for business Lunch and Dinner. We also organize different kinds of team building and entertainment. In the ancient room of the Olive oil, where rested the precious jars of the Villa, was born “The Winery” for offering the best selection of local products wine, cheeses and Tuscany salami.
