Set on the top of a hill between Arezzo and Siena, the Castello is a quiet, privately owned Tuscan village offering tourist accommodation. Surrounded by the forest, in the middle of Val di Chiana is a place where silence reigns broken only by the singing of birds and crickets on summer nights. The Castle has 13 rooms and 8 apartments. The carefully restored rooms are characterized by traditional furnishings, such as terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams that give a welcoming atmosphere. The attention to the preservation of the authenticity of the places does not mean giving up comfort, in fact all the rooms are equipped with every comfort. Even the apartments have been renovated with the intention of maintaining the genuineness of the places, in fact each apartment has been called with the name of those who lived there in the past. The various types of accommodation are distributed throughout the village and some have a fireplace and a view of the valley. The ancient walls of this medieval structure also include an outdoor swimming pool, private gardens, a congress center, as well as the Church of Santi Tiburzio and Susanna. The restaurant open for guests of the castle and for the external clientele is outside the walls, near the swimming pool where you can enjoy a breathtaking view. It offers dishes of typical Tuscan cuisine made with genuine and seasonal ingredients. The pasta is homemade and the meat is Chianina. Vast is the choice of wines, over 60 wines of the territory.
